Holistic doula care · Milwaukee

Birth,
held differently.

Holistic, culturally rooted birth and postpartum care honoring the wisdom of your body, the power of your choices, and the sacred transition into motherhood.

Serving mothers and families throughout Milwaukee and surrounding communities.

A return to supported birth

You were never meant to birth alone.

Preparation here is whole-person. We tend to your body with movement and comfort measures, your mind with real childbirth education, your nervous system with breath and grounding, and your spirit with intention that belongs to you.

Nothing is rushed and nothing is decided for you. We build understanding slowly, so that by the time labor begins, the tools already feel familiar in your hands and your voice already feels practiced.

You are preparing to cross a threshold.

Meet Omi

I believe the mother should be held, too.

I’m Omi — a doula, childbirth educator, kinesiology practitioner, holistic wellness practitioner, mother, and the founder of Ashe Womb Association.

I began this work because I know what it feels like to need someone who is paying attention. Not managing you. Not deciding for you. Simply present, informed, and steady while you do something enormous.

That is the care I offer now: rooted in education, embodiment and culture, and shaped around the woman in front of me.

How preparation is built

Four pillars of care.

Each pillar is practiced, not just discussed — until it becomes something your body remembers.

01

Body

Movement, positioning, comfort measures and kinesiology-informed preparation — plus touch and embodied support that help you work with your body rather than against it.

02

Mind

Childbirth education, practical preparation and informed decision-making, so your choices come from understanding instead of urgency.

03

Nervous System

Breathwork, guided meditation, Mind Melts, relaxation and grounding practices that teach your body how to settle and stay resourced.

04

Spirit

Intentional preparation, ritual and ancestral connection — held in whatever spiritual meaning you bring to your own birth.

Your care doesn’t have to fit into one box. Neither do you.

Why Ashe Womb

Care built around the woman, not the schedule.

Whole-person care

Your body, mind, nervous system and spirit are prepared together, not treated as separate projects.

Education first

You learn how birth works and what your options are, early enough for that knowledge to matter.

Culturally rooted

Care shaped with Black mothers in mind, while remaining attentive to each woman's own story.

Mother-centered

Support that tends to you — not only to the baby, and not only until the birth is over.
